From September 2004, Danang City has, besides Furama Resort, another large 4-star resort named Sandy Beach Resort.
Situated on the Nonnuoc seaside, a famous beauty spot of Danang City with blue water and white sand, just 15 minutes drive from the City Centre to the South, Sandy Beach Hotel & Resort is to be an ideal destination for visitors to Danang City and the three World's Cultural Heritages recognized by UNESCO including Hue Ancient Capital, My Son Relic Zone and Hoi An Ancient Town.
Sandy Beach Resort with an area of 17 ha consisting of 123 rooms is a successful joint-venture between Danang Tourist Company (Danatour) – the Benthanh Incorporation.
The resort is designed on unique Eastern architecture and divided into two functional subdivisions. The first one is also the Central area, composed of two modern blocks with a system of restaurants, meeting rooms, modernly-equipped conference hall for around 300 guests, karaoke, gym, sauna, spa, swimming pools, tennis court, entertainment area for children.
In front of this subdivision there's a large yard with a sea view and wonderful scenery suitable for parties of over 500 guests.
The second subdivision is composed of 31 bungalows placed close to the sea, surrounded by coconut palms and pine trees and the small paths through colourful flowers.
The bungalow's interior decoration by professional designers is of a particular combination of various colour tones of curtains, pictures and even lampshades.
With a wide view, the resort fronts towards the deep blue Non nuoc Sea with stretching white-sand seaside, and the far Son Tra Peninsula vaporous in clouds. Waves in the Nonuoc sea are rather high but the seaside is gently sloping and very clean and safe. Therefore, the Nonnuoc Sea has been many times selected by international organizations to hold surfing contests here. Besides sea-bathing, the resort also offers visitors other sea services such as: fishing, diving, water sports, mountain-climbing, etc…
The resort is close to the Nonnuoc Fine-arts Granite Village and the Marble Mountain landscape. Just after a few minute walk, visitors can contemplate the lively, fine sculptures of skillful craftsmen on marble and granite, or let their souls drifting away in the scenery of pagodas and caves on Marble Mountain.
After playing and relaxing, visitors can enjoy delicious Asian and European dishes, especially seafood of the Central prepared by the best cooks and served by careful, enthusiastic and professional staff
